About Kiram Academy
Since its founding in 1991, Kiram Academy has been a beacon of education in Mogotio, Baringo County, Kenya. It was established by Mrs. Magdaline J. Chemirmir, who continues to serve as the director, and her late husband, JKK Chemirmir, the school was built on a vision to empower girls through education.
Today, Kiram Academy welcomes students of all denominations, fostering an inclusive environment open to everyone. We partner with parents and sponsors to nurture each child’s God-given potential, helping them grow academically and personally.
In 2000, Kiram Academy expanded to become a Private Primary and Junior Secondary School, catering to both boarding and day students. Our curriculum blends rigorous academics with character development, equipping boys and girls to thrive in a globalized world.
The school has produced pupils who have become inspirational figures in communities worldwide. With a caring and holistic approach, we prepare our students to excel in an ever-changing future.
